X-Ray Imatek currently markets two products based on the Medipix2 chip technology. The XRI Series, composed by the XRI-UNO and the XRI-QUATRO, are a small, stand-alone, plug-and-play and multifunctional imaging devices. It consists of a X-Ray/Gamma detector that can take pictures of 14 mm x 14 mm (UNO) or 28 mm x 28 mm (QUATRO) with an adjustable energy threshold with a maximum frame-rate up to 500 images per second. Furthermore, X-Ray Imatek has also developed a customized large area detector, the XRI-1 which is able to capture an image of 25 cm x 31 cm (standard in digital mammography).
