X-Ray Imatek aims to make radiology better for patients, doctors, and equipment providers by developing digital detectors, which are fundamentally more affordable and produce higher image quality at lower radiation levels.

 

 

To reach this goal, the company places much emphasis on R&D and it has been able to develop a unique, propietary technology.

 

 

 

The company is a spinoff of the Institut de Física d’Altes Energies (IFAE), created in June 2006. The management team, including the spanish company EMSOR, is the majority shareholder and has completed successfully a first round of financing led by Inveready SCR.
